Submitted on Review title of Justin BaileyFirst Person Puzzle GameGameplay is in the style of Portal 2, The Turing Test and older Sherlock Holmes games by Frogwares. Also a bit like The Witness, but with abilities and more varied puzzles.Story is deeply philosophical. Existentialism, rationalism, empiricism and transhumanism. Also theology, mythology and artificial intelligence. Do you do what you are told?
Oct 13, 2015 The Talos Principle is a fun puzzle game that also makes some strong philosophical points. The puzzles can sometimes be frustrating and the heavy amount of text to read in the files can bog down the pace, but it’s still a memorable adventure that players will undoubtedly want to discuss and dissect with their friends. Theme park world mac. Originally if you clicked the Advisor, he would get peeved, and if you clicked him enough times, he would scream and tell the player that if they wanted him back, they'd have to go back to the options screen and turn him on, before leaving and turning himself off.
Or blindly follow those before you? Or rather do whatever you want instead?Graphics are decent and has quality or performance option.

There are some frame drops when inside the elevators, but I assume this is due to loading/buffering.Music is very fitting for the atmosphere and changes with each hub/nexus.There are quite a few mutually exclusive achievements which will require multiple playthroughs or reloading.I completed the story and collected all sigils (not including stars) without any in-game hints or outside guide in 17 hours (in-game save, not Xbox time). YMMV depending on your outside the box thinking. I used a guide for stars. Submitted on 2/7/2020 Review title of Eric HernzCorrupt Save File Ruined Game For MeCheckpoint save became corrupt when I returned to the game after stepping away from my Xbox for a little while. I not only lost EVERYTHING I did after noticiting the corrupt save file message, but hours of gameplay before receiving any error messages. I freed three messengers, and all of that work is gone.
I will not be doing any of it again. Too bad, I was quite enjoying the game up until this issue occurred. Inexcusable for the save file(s) to become corrupt from a simple controller auto-off after idle. Note: The game's built-in 'Restore backup' did not restore the mission hours of gameplay progress.

Submitted on 2/21/2020 Review title of DethshaydeThe most fun I've ever had being frustrated.I installed this game not really knowing what to expect. I just remembered hearing about it years ago and that it was supposedly really good. Turns out that is actually is and I wish I'd of played it long ago.
The graphics are basically the same as the more recent Serious Sam games (no surprise here since this is also from Croteam) and they've held up well overall. The story is interesting and presents some philosofical questions that really make you think.

The puzzles are 'simple' yet sometimes make you bang your head on the wall until you solve them and facepalm because it was so bleedingly obvious. You can also occasionally find a bit of that classic Croteam humor with various Easter eggs and such.Even if you aren't a fan of puzzlers (which I'm also not myself), this is absolutely worth a try especially with being included in Game Pass.
